The Platinum Club

One of the most unique features associated with being a member at an American Golf private club is access to other great private club and daily fee properties. The Platinum Club is available to all active private club Full Golf, Corporate Golf and Associate Golf Members.

Participating Members enroll by paying an annual fee determined by AGC. The Platinum Club membership year runs from April 1st – March 31st. An annual open enrollment period is held each March. Any existing member who does not enroll during the open enrollment period but would like to enroll during the year may do so but applications will only be accepted when accompanied by the full annual fee. A new club member who enrolls in The Platinum Club within 30 days of joining a Club may do so at a prorated rate.

The following outlines the Platinum Club features and benefits you will enjoy as a Platinum Club Member as well as familiarize you with the rules & restrictions of the program.

Features & Benefits

1. Platinum Club members enjoy golf privileges Monday through Friday (excluding holidays) at participating American Golf private country clubs and public/resort courses for just a cart fee. Cart fee payment is required whether the member opts to walk or to ride.
   
2. Platinum Club Members may reserve tee times up to 60 days in advance.
   
3. Platinum Club Members have access to additional tee times (outside of reserved Platinum Club times) seven days a week at participating public and resort courses at 20% off the prevailing 18-hole rate.
   
4. Platinum Club Members may bring guests to participating private clubs for the prevailing guest rate.
   
5. Platinum Club Appreciation Days will be scheduled at each home club. These events will allow participating Platinum Club members to bring guests to the club for a round of golf at the prevailing cart rate.
   
6. Platinum Club members have access to a full service travel agent through The Platinum Club reservation office.
   
7. Platinum Club members enjoy reciprocal charging privileges at private clubs.
   
8. Platinum Club members receive preferred member pricing in the golf shops of all participating American Golf private clubs.
   
   

Rules & Restrictions

1. All tee time requests must be made through The Platinum Club reservation center by calling (800) 207-GOLF. Confirmation numbers will be issued for all confirmed tee times. Members may not contact courses directly.
   
2. Credit card guarantees and cancellation fees may apply for tee times. If a member does not cancel a tee time at least 24 hours in advance, a no show fee of $50 will be billed to the member’s account. Upon cancellation, a Member Services Representative will issue a cancellation number for verification. If the 24-hour window falls on a weekend or holiday when the reservation center is closed, the member must contact the club or course to cancel the tee time.
   
3. Only active Full Golf, Corporate Golf and Associate Golf Members are eligible to enroll in The Platinum Club.
   
4. Dependant children with membership privileges may enjoy Platinum Club privileges only when accompanied by the primary or alternate designee on the membership.
   
5. Members who enroll in The Platinum Club will be charged a non-refundable annual fee. An annual open enrollment period will be held each March, with privileges extended from April 1st – March 31st. Any existing member who does not enroll during the open enrollment period may do so, but will be subject to the full annual fee. A new club member who enrolls in The Platinum Club within 30 days of joining a Club may do so for a prorated fee.
   
6. Platinum Club privileges are not available at private courses within a fifty (50) mile radius of a member’s home club. There is no mileage restriction for Platinum Club play at participating public and resort courses.
   
7. At check-in, members must present their home club membership card and picture ID along with their confirmation number.
   
8. Platinum Club guests are subject to guest fees and policies of each individual course or club.
   
9. Platinum Club members may play each participating course or club a maximum of two (2) times per month.
   
10. Platinum Club members may use the range and/or practice facilities at participating clubs or courses only on the day of play.
    
11. Violations of the program rules and restrictions including allowing a non-participating Member to use their Platinum Club privileges can result in suspension or termination of Platinum Club privileges.
    
12. American Golf reserves the right to revise, modify or withdraw The Platinum Club or any feature of the club at any time without prior notice.
